Counselling //
At the Clarendon Clinic counselling is provided by Tracy Mcadden and Julie Tinning. Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.
Tracy McCadden provides a one to one confidential counselling service for men, women and young people from the age of 11 years at the clinic which includes out of hours support for those struggling to commit to regular daytime sessions due to work, school, or family commitments.
Tracy has extensive experience in the mental health field both in private practise and within other support services including the NHS, Women’s Aid, and Homestart UK.
Julie Tinning practices an intergrative method of counselling based on the person-centred, non-judgemental approach. This therapeautic model allows you to discover your own way to a more contented and satisfying life. Julie Tinningis a member of the BACP and work within the Ethical Framework. This includes on-going Professional and Personal Developement. Julie Tinning attends therapy workshops and courses and attends regular supervision.
Tracy Mcadden
Qualifications & Experience
Tracy has a BSc(honours) in Psychology, a national diploma in counselling, a diploma in cognitive-behavioural therapy and a diploma in Hypno-psychotherapy, as well as a variety of additional training to enhance the therapy offered. She has experience in working with many different issues from depression, stress, and anxiety to phobias, compulsions, and abuse of all descriptions.
Tracy covers a wide range of mental health difficulties and specialises in individual relationship difficulties/abuse/narcissism as well as anxiety and depression and is ASIST trained in order to offer a high level of support to clients considering suicide. She also has a strong success rate for supporting clients to overcome PTSD.
Tracy also offers relaxation sessions for anyone interested in learning self-relaxation techniques as well as insomnia support.

I have worked in Private Practice for several years, offering clients the ability to work together in a nuturing relationship, which I believe is one of the mainstays of the therapeautic process.
I am on the Management team of a local Counselling Charity and offer my counselling services on a voluntary basis.
I have worked as a Mentor in a local Secondary School, helping students to set their own goals and work towards achieving them.
